God was already planning GGCRM when he sent our president, Cody Millhouse, on short term mission trips to Mexico. In 2011, while studying abroad in Taiwan his love for children was furthered by visits caring for children with HIV in a childrens home in Taipei.  (https://www.twhhf.org/introduction) 

While serving in the Engineer regimemt of the United States Army, Cody comitted to the Lord to build an orphanage. 

After being medically seperated from the United States Army, Cody started working toward fulfilling that comittment.

Gods Grace Childrens Rescue Mission EIN: 82-4863055 was officially incorporated in March 2018 in the state of Missouri. Later that year we applied for and recived recognition as a 501c3 non profit organization. 

Our plan was to establish an orphanage in the Philippines. The Philippines has active terrorist groups, has extremely high poverty, and is annually battered by typhoons. These factors contribute to the need for childrens homes and orphan care. 

  In 2021, we purchased  about 12 acres  of farmland in a rural are in mid-southern Palawan, in the district of Aborlan. Growing up in a rural area, Cody felt this was where he could bring children across the Philippines to care for, love, teach responsibility, love for people, provode education, and a love for God. 

Since arriving during COVID, we have had our share of difficulties from severe health problems to property disputes.

God has guided us through this , settled the disputes, healed our bodies, and allowed us to construct several buildings for the Orphanage. 

Our ministries here have included childrens boble classes, providing food and shelter, employment, financial planning classes, sharing the gospel with workers.
